K&B Panto frame HavannaDelicately chiseled stems set this frame, with its classic K&B keyhole bridge, apart. The slightly smoky Havana tone flatters many complexions. Made in France!
The Panto frame The first Panto glasses were designed in the 20s. In terms of shape and size, they conform to the human eye socket. The eyes should be located behind the center of the upper third of the lens, creating the ideal lens shape for a person's field of vision. The Panto were the first glasses with which one could see “everything” – Panto is, in fact, Greek for “all,” “while,” “entire,” “fully.” Before the Panto, eyewear frames had been limited to small oval or completely round forms. Today the term “Panto” is commonly used for almost all glasses with rounded shapes that are slightly flat on top.
